This is a 1979 bourbon barrel of some of Benriach's fantastic peated make that seems to have been produced sporadically (and quietly) for the past 35 years or so. This one runs a fine and elegant line between farmy, earthy and medicinal qualities. A great alternative style of aged, peated malt whisky.
