The Blanton's range was born in 1984Ā at Buffalo Trace (then known as George T. Stagg distillery) and was the brainchild of legendary Master Distiller Emeritus Elmer T. Lee in tribute to former company president Alfred Blanton, who had employed him at the distillery in 1949.
