The Flora & Fauna Caol Ila 15 year old was a bit of a sleeper hit back in the days when it was on general release, nowadays it's garnered a little bit of a cult about it for it's very pure focus on distillery character and rather infamous drinkability. A lovely whisky full of Caol Ila's classic fresh oyster, lemon juice, coastal complexity with mineral peat smoke, ash, touches of green fruit and a lovely medicinal streak running throughout. Very pure, classical in style and utterly delicious.
