A litre bottle of the excellent but short-lived Chivas Brothers Oldest & Finest, one of the rarest Chivas whiskies. We think this was bottled around the turn of the 1990s - presumably as the Chivas response to the introduction of Johnnie Walker Oldest / Blue Label.
Info on this bottling is extremely hard to come by, but the label states that the blend is comprised of some of the very oldest casks in the Chivas cellars, so it's fair to assume there's likely toĀ be some extremely old malts from the likes of Strathisla, Longmorn, Glen Keith and Glenlivet in the assemblage. A very fine Chivas dram indeed.
