The Clarendon distillery in Jamaica is a hybrid beast - on one hand churning out industrial column still distillate for Myer's and Captain Morgan, while on the other creating various esoteric and very highly-regarded light and heavy ester pot-distilled rums, often bottled as Monymusk.  

We're guessing that this Adelphi Clarendon 2008 is of the latter type, although Adelphi aren't giving much away on their minimal labels. We did hear a rumour somewhere that this was fully matured in a refill Madeira cask though. At a bracing 56.8% cask strength, this seems likely to be a cracker.
