This 12-year-old Glen Scotia Seasonal ReleaseĀ spent the majority of its maturation in first fill ex-bourbon barrels before a 12-month finishing period in Amontillado sherry butts, giving a nutty, saline edge to the whisky, which has been bottled at a hearty 53.3% without colouring or chill filtration.
