Glenglassaugh had a troubled production history under Highland Distillers andĀ had been in mothballs for over a decade when this whisky was released, but this is a superlative whisky, very old school Speyside style with honey, hay, tweed, herbs, oak spices and a gentle, creamy mouthfeel. A particularly elegant old 'Glassaugh.
