This 30-year-old Tomintoul 1995 came from single cask #6, a first fill Oloroso sherry butt that yielded a total of 565 bottles at its natural cask strength of 50.6%. Official bottlings of Tomintoul's single malt are generally rather mild-mannered - this one should have a bit more oomph and character.
