One of the all-time great Bunnahabhains, this legendary single malt whisky was bottled at its natural cask strength of just 43.2% in 2002 from a very small batch of sherry casks filled at the Bunnahabhain distillery on Islay 34 years previously on 31st December 1968, hence the name 'Auld Acquaintance' and the Limited Hogmanay Edition neck tag.
Sadly rare to see nowadays, this extraordinary Bunnahabhain is many connoisseurs' favourite ever bottling from the distillery.
