An old bottle of single cask Glendronach 1968 25-year-old Highland single malt whisky released in 1993 as one of around two dozen single casks that were bottled exclusively for the Japanese airline All Nippon Airways after full term maturation in some truly glorious sherry casks. Glendronach's 1968 vintage is legendary for a reason and these famous old 25-year-old sherry casks are pretty much the epitome of an outstanding sherry bomb.

Glendronach 1968 25-year-old has a beautifully clean, chiselled sherry character: meaty, earthy, oily, minerally and hugely fruity with a thread of peat smoke, yet it still reveals glimpses of Glendronach's beautiful distillery character shining through the sherry. Another sherried masterpiece from Glendronach, these ANA bottlings from the 1968 vintage have long been fought over by collectors.
