This 1977 vintage Glendronach 18-year-old hasĀ oceans of old-style sherry character (despite the canny use of some 'seasoned' oak casks), plus huge amounts of dark fruits, delicate phenols, nuttiness, big earthy notes and all kinds of complexities such as balsamico, rancio and walnut oil.
